Ministry Team

The Vicar leads a team of lay people who are authorized by the Bishop of Tonbridge .  Readers are licensed to a teaching, preaching and worship ministry; they share certain pastoral care duties with the Vicar.  They are able to officiate at many of the services of the Church of England but cannot ‘preside’ at the Mass (Holy Communion)  or take weddings; or Baptisms.   Pastoral Assistants (assist the Vicar) and may hold a range of tasks—mostly to do with pastoral care and parish work in the community, under the guidance and supervision of the Vicar.
